We are urgently seeking a Locum Veterinarian to support a regional veterinary clinic in Narrogin, Western Australia, commencing from 28 August 2026.

The clinic is flexible and can accommodate either a small animal veterinarian or a mixed animal veterinarian. If you’re a small animal vet, you can stick to small animals only, so mixed animal experience is not required.

The clinic is ideally looking for someone who can stay for as long as possible, with the placement currently open-ended. Shorter blocks may also be considered depending on availability.

The Opportunity

• Open to small animal OR mixed animal veterinarians
• Sole charge position
• After-hours work is optional
• Small animal vets are not required to undertake mixed animal work
• Clinic opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
• Accommodation provided
• Longer locum blocks preferred, although shorter availability may be considered
• Commencing 28 August 2026

Requirements

• Must be registered, or eligible to be registered, with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Western Australia
• Confident working in a sole charge capacity
• Comfortable managing a general practice caseload relevant to your experience

Location

Narrogin is approximately 2 hours’ drive from Perth, offering the chance to experience regional WA without travelling too far from the city.

There are no direct flights into Narrogin, so travel is by road from Perth.
