Planning ahead for Christmas and New Year?

A veterinary hospital in Samford Valley is looking for Locum Veterinarians to assist with coverage across the festive period, with opportunities available between 21 December and 3 January.

The hospital is open to veterinarians who can assist with individual dates, multiple shifts or a larger portion of the two-week period.

Priority Coverage

Availability across the full period is welcomed, with particular interest in veterinarians who can assist around:

• Christmas Day
• New Year’s Day
• Christmas/New Year overnight shifts
• Larger blocks between 21 December and 3 January

Both day and overnight availability can be considered.

The Role

The hospital sees a combination of GP and emergency cases and is looking for veterinarians who are happy to work across both areas as required.

A strong GP background is highly regarded. You do not necessarily need to be an experienced ECC veterinarian, provided you have some emergency exposure or are comfortable developing your skills within a supportive hospital environment.

About You

Ideally, you will:

• Have strong small animal GP experience
• Have some ECC exposure or an interest in emergency work
• Be comfortable assisting across GP and emergency cases
• Work well within a team
• Be available for one or more shifts across the Christmas/New Year period

Interested?

Whether you can assist for a couple of dates or a larger portion of the block, get in touch with your availability to discuss the options.
