Role: Locum Veterinary Nurse
Hours: Approximately 10:00pm – 7:00/8:00am
Availability: Ongoing overnight opportunities

A veterinary hospital in Samford Valley is looking to connect with experienced Veterinary Nurses who are interested in picking up overnight locum shifts.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced GP nurse who would like to gain further exposure to emergency and hospital nursing without necessarily moving into a permanent ECC position.

The Role

Working alongside the veterinary team, you will assist with overnight hospital and emergency cases, patient monitoring, treatments and general nursing duties.

While previous ECC experience would be beneficial, the hospital is also very open to nurses coming from a strong GP background.

Some of their strongest team members have transitioned across from GP nursing, so they are happy to consider nurses who have the fundamentals and are keen to develop further emergency experience.

About You

Ideally, you will:

• Have solid veterinary nursing experience
• Be confident with general nursing and hospitalised patient care
• Have ECC exposure or an interest in developing your emergency nursing skills
• Be comfortable working overnight hours
• Work well within a team
• Be reliable and confident in a busy hospital environment
