A well-organised and supportive small animal clinic in Capalaba is seeking an experienced Locum Veterinary Nurse to provide surgical nursing support throughout December.
The clinic has 13 shifts available across three consecutive blocks and would ideally love to secure nurses who can cover multiple consecutive dates or full blocks to provide consistency and continuity for the team.
If you can’t cover the entire requirement, please don’t let that stop you from getting in touch. The clinic is happy to consider nurses who can assist with one or more of the blocks or a selection of dates, although block availability will be prioritised where possible.

The Role
This is a theatre-focused surgical nursing position with no reception responsibilities and no sole charge requirements.
You’ll be working alongside a friendly and collaborative team, providing hands-on nursing support across the clinic’s surgical caseload.

About You
We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse who:
- Has strong surgical nursing and anaesthesia skills
- Is confident supporting surgical procedures
- Is comfortable with anaesthetic monitoring and patient care
- Can integrate quickly into an established clinical team
- Works confidently and efficiently within a busy surgical environment
Availability
Ideally, we’re looking for nurses who can commit to a full week or multiple consecutive shifts.
