Role: Companion Animal Veterinarian

Two opportunities are available for Companion Animal Veterinarians within established mixed animal practices in the Hawke’s Bay region. Both clinics offer a varied companion animal caseload, loyal clients and a collaborative team environment.

The role would suit an experienced veterinarian, although new graduates with a strong willingness to learn and develop will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality companion animal consultations and treatment
• Perform routine surgery and other clinical procedures
• Build strong relationships with clients and their pets
• Advocate for the best outcomes for patients
• Work collaboratively with the wider veterinary and support team

• Continue developing clinical skills and knowledge through professional development

Requirements:

• BVSc or equivalent, with registration (or eligibility) in New Zealand
• Experience in companion animal practice preferred
• New graduates with the right attitude and willingness to develop will also be considered
• Confident with general practice consultations and surgery, or motivated to develop these skills
