GVC are assisting a well-established small animal practice in Salisbury as they look to welcome an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to their close-knit clinical team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident vet who wants more than just a consulting and surgical role. You’ll have the opportunity to bring your ideas, experience and clinical vision to the table and play a genuine part in shaping the practice’s next chapter.

The Role

You’ll be joining a busy practice with a loyal client base and a strong reputation for delivering excellent patient care.

The role would suit a vet who is confident across first-opinion practice, including consulting, general surgery and occasional sole-charge work, and who is keen to contribute ideas and help continue developing clinical standards.

• 9am–7pm working day
• No out-of-hours

About the Practice

This is a well-established small animal practice with a loyal client base built over more than 16 years. Many members of the team have been there since the practice opened, reflecting the supportive culture and excellent working environment.

The practice has recently undergone refurbishment and is well equipped with:

• Digital X-ray
• Ultrasound
• Dental facilities
• In-house laboratory
• Modern surgical facilities

About You

You’ll ideally be:

• Qualified for 5+ years with UK clinical experience
• Confident across consulting and general surgery
• Comfortable with occasional sole-charge work
• Passionate about high-quality clinical care
• A strong communicator and team player
• Someone with ideas, initiative and the ambition to help shape the future of the practice
