A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to step into a Head Veterinary Nurse role within a supportive small animal practice in Oxfordshire.

This is a great opportunity for a confident nurse who enjoys clinical leadership, developing colleagues and helping to maintain high standards of patient and client care.

The Role

As Head Veterinary Nurse, you’ll provide clinical leadership to the nursing team while remaining hands-on with patient care. Responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting the nursing team
• Developing and mentoring colleagues
• Delivering nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 procedures
• Supporting surgical and medical cases
• Patient monitoring, admissions and discharges
• Maintaining high clinical, regulatory and operational standards
• Helping to ensure an excellent experience for clients and their pets

About You

You’ll be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for high-quality patient care and the confidence to lead and inspire a team.

Previous leadership or senior nursing experience would be beneficial, but applications are also welcomed from RVNs who are ready to take the next step in their career.
