GVC are assisting a lovely, independently co-owned veterinary clinic in the Kent area with the recruitment of a second Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced team.

This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced vet who wants more than simply joining an established practice. The clinic is co-owned and run by an experienced Veterinary Surgeon, and they are looking for someone commercially aware, ambitious and keen to play a genuine part in developing and growing the practice.

You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with the owner, contribute ideas, build client relationships and help shape the future direction of the clinic.

The Role

• 3–4 days per week
• NO weekend work
• Salary of up to £75,000, depending on experience
• Ideally 4+ years’ veterinary experience
• Around 80% Small Animal / 20% Exotics
• Opportunity to develop an exotics caseload if this is an area you enjoy
• 1–2 days per week sole charge
• Full clinical freedom with the opportunity to develop your own interests
• A genuine opportunity to help grow and develop the clinic
• Relocation package available
• Visa sponsorship/support available

What are they looking for?

The ideal candidate will be a confident Veterinary Surgeon with solid clinical experience who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of their caseload.

You’ll ideally have 4+ years’ experience and be commercially aware, with an interest in helping a growing practice thrive. You’ll need to be someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, has plenty of ideas and is excited by the opportunity to make a real difference.

An interest or experience in exotics would be a fantastic bonus, but isn’t essential.
