GVC are assisting a well-established veterinary clinic in Essex with the recruitment of a Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet with around 1–2 years’ experience or more who is looking for their next step and, in particular, wants to build their surgical confidence and gain more hands-on experience.

🩺 A role where you can develop your surgery

The practice has a strong surgical caseload, making this an excellent environment for a vet who enjoys getting stuck into surgery or would like to do more of it.

There is particularly good opportunity to develop your skills in laparoscopic procedures, with the practice increasingly performing laparoscopic spays.

You'll have plenty of support around you, so if you're keen to expand your surgical skillset, you won't be expected to figure it all out alone!

👩‍⚕️ About you

We're looking for an MRCVS with around 1–2 years' experience or more who is confident working as a GP vet and keen to continue developing.

You don't need to be a surgical superstar already — what matters is that you're enthusiastic about surgery, keen to learn and want to build your confidence in a practice with a good surgical caseload.
