Veterinary Surgeon – Imaging Bias
East Yorkshire | Up to £65,000 DOE | Full-Time
Are you a Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for diagnostic imaging, internal medicine or complex clinical cases?
GVC are assisting a busy 24-hour hospital in East Yorkshire with the recruitment of an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their clinically driven team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet who enjoys working with a varied and interesting caseload and would like to develop their skills in diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, cardiology or neurology.
The Role
The successful candidate will join an experienced hospital team and will ideally have an imaging or medical bias, alongside an interest in ECC.
The hospital has excellent diagnostic capabilities, including:
- Digital radiography
- High-spec ultrasound
- Full-body CT
- Comprehensive in-house laboratory
- Two fully equipped theatres
- Spacious preparation and treatment areas
- Three consulting rooms
- Dedicated laboratory facilities
With this level of equipment on-site, there is plenty of opportunity to work up interesting and complex cases and really utilise your clinical skills.
Working Pattern
- 40 hours per week over 4 days
- 1 in 6 full weekends
- Part-time hours can be considered for the right candidate
- Salary up to £65,000 DOE
About You
We’re looking for an experienced MRCVS who is confident in first-opinion practice and keen to work within a hospital environment.
You may have a particular interest or experience in:
- Diagnostic imaging
- Internal medicine
- Cardiology
- Neurology
- ECC
You don’t need to be a specialist — we’re looking for someone who is clinically curious, enjoys working up cases and wants to continue developing their skills.
