Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon | Flexible Working | Modern Facilities

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Small Animal Vet to join a growing practice in Crawley, West Sussex. The role offers a mix of consultations, surgery and inpatient care, with scope to develop your clinical interests in medicine, surgery or diagnostic imaging.

The Role

• Full-time position working 40 hours per week.
• 8-hour shifts.
• A varied mix of consultations, surgery and inpatient shifts.
• Maximum 1:4 weekend rota, with time off in lieu.
• Shared bank holiday cover, with enhanced compensation.

You'll have access to impressive, modern veterinary facilities designed to support high standards of clinical care, including:

• Two surgical theatres equipped with laparoscopic equipment.
• Dedicated dental suite with dental X-ray.
• Digital X-ray suite.
• Siemens CT scanner.
• In-house laboratory facilities.
• Separate waiting areas, consultation rooms and wards for feline, canine and exotic patients.
• Modern inpatient, surgical and diagnostic facilities.

About You

To be considered for this Veterinary Surgeon job, you'll need:

• RCVS registration.
• At least three years of small animal veterinary experience.
• Confidence in routine surgery and consultations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for animal welfare and client care.

Experience as a Vet GDP Adviser would be an advantage.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary from £45,000, depending on experience.
• Eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus of up to 5%, subject to practice performance.
• Five weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing after five years of employment.

This Veterinary Surgeon vacancy is based in Crawley, West Sussex, with access to the surrounding areas of Sussex and Surrey, including Horley and East Grinstead.
