GVC are assisting with the recruitment for a brand-new, state-of-the-art luxury veterinary clinic opening in Kent 

This is a rare opportunity to join a clinic from the very beginning, whether you're an experienced Vet looking for your next move, a Vet ready to take that step into leadership, or an established Clinical Director looking for the opportunity to truly shape and build something special.

🐾 Clinical Director / Lead Vet

We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is passionate about clinical excellence, leadership and building a fantastic team culture.

You’ll have the opportunity to help shape the clinic from day one, with responsibility across both the clinical and leadership sides of the business.

You’ll spend around 80% of your time clinically, while also:

• Leading, supporting and developing the veterinary team
• Working closely with the Head RVN and Practice Manager
• Driving clinical standards, governance and evidence-based medicine
• Supporting CPD, education and clinical development
• Helping shape the culture, processes and client experience
• Supporting recruitment and team growth
• Contributing to clinic strategy, KPIs and financial performance
• Being a key figurehead for the new clinic and helping establish its reputation locally

Salary: £76,000–£87,000+ depending on experience, with bonus opportunities available for those looking to achieve a higher overall package.

🩺 Veterinary Surgeons 

Alongside the leadership opportunity, there will be three Veterinary Surgeon positions available.

We’re ideally looking for Vets with 3–4+ years' experience, although the right person and skillset are more important than simply ticking a PQE box.

You’ll be joining a brand-new, beautifully designed clinic with access to modern facilities and the opportunity to help establish how the team works from the outset.

Salary: £55,000–£75,000 depending on experience.

🗓️ The Working Week

The clinic is expected to open in early 2027, making this a fantastic opportunity for anyone currently working through a notice period.

During the initial launch period, the team will work 5 days per week for the first six weeks, before moving to a 4-day working week.

Weekend arrangements are still being finalised and will depend partly on the surrounding network of clinics. This could include arrangements such as approximately 1 in 6 weekends, potentially supported by nearby sites.
