GVC are assisting a proudly independent veterinary group with the recruitment of a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team in Worthing.

Importantly, consulting-only vets will absolutely be considered for this role! Whether you’re an experienced GP vet who enjoys a varied caseload or would prefer to focus exclusively on consultations, this could be a fantastic opportunity to find a role that suits your strengths and interests.

You’ll work across two welcoming branch clinics in Worthing, with access to a wider network of modern hospitals, emergency services and referral facilities to support more complex cases.

The Role

• Full-time or part-time opportunities available.

For vets undertaking the full GP role, experience with routine procedures, dentals and sole-charge work is required.

About You

• MRCVS qualified.

• Ideally 3+ years’ UK general practice experience.

• A confident, compassionate vet who enjoys providing excellent client and patient care.

• A team player who values communication, empathy and collaboration.

Salary & Benefits

• £45,000–£65,000+ depending on experience, certificates and advanced practitioner status.

Working Pattern

A typical full-time rota is four days per week, totalling 40 hours across two Worthing sites, with 10-hour shifts between 7:30am and 7:30pm.

Weekend and bank holiday participation is shared on a 1-in-6 rota, with two days off in lieu for weekends worked. Part-time working will also be considered.
