The Opportunity

Global Veterinary Careers is supporting the launch of a brand-new College of Veterinary Medicine, seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor specialising in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology.

This is a rare opportunity to join at the very beginning of an innovative veterinary programme, helping to shape a forward-thinking, student-focused curriculum built around real-world clinical application. You will play a key role in curriculum design, teaching delivery, and the ongoing development of future veterinary professionals.

The Role

• Deliver lectures and facilitate small group teaching sessions
• Contribute to curriculum design, course materials, and assessment development
• Support integrated teaching across multiple areas of the DVM programme
• Participate in professional skills and clinical teaching components
• Mentor veterinary students, graduate students, and junior faculty
• Contribute to postgraduate programme development and delivery
• Participate in faculty governance and university committees

Teaching & Academic Focus

• Teach across body system modules within the DVM curriculum
• Focus on Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology within integrated teaching models
• Support collaborative, small-group learning environments
• Contribute to both core and elective teaching across veterinary and graduate programmes

Research & Scholarly Activity

• Engage in independent and collaborative research within Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology
• Promote interdisciplinary research initiatives across departments
• Support and mentor faculty and graduate students in research development
• Contribute to broader research areas including One Health, Public Health, and related fields

• Salary ranging from $149,864 to $196,539 depending on experience

Requirements

• DVM and/or PhD from an accredited institution
• Board eligible or board certified preferred
• Experience or strong interest in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
