A highly respected and independent small animal practice in Binghamton, New York, is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join its long-standing team and GVC are lucky enough to be representing them. Serving the community for more than 60 years, this well-established clinic is known for providing exceptional medical and surgical care with a personal touch.

About the Facility
This animal hospital operates in a modern, fully equipped facility designed to support high-quality, efficient care. The hospital features:

  • Digital radiography and ultrasound
  • In-house IDEXX laboratory equipment for comprehensive diagnostics and automated urinalysis
  • Surgical and therapeutic lasers
  • A supportive and experienced staff committed to teamwork and patient well-being. (2 full time doctors, 2 licensed technicians, 4 assistants and 3 receptionist)

Compensation & Benefits
The hospital offers a competitive compensation package based on experience and schedule, including:

  • Salary range of $125,000 – $175,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough physical examinations and diagnostics for small animals
  • Administer vaccinations and prescribe medications as needed
  • Conduct surgical and critical care procedures
  • Provide client education on preventive health, nutrition, and general pet care
  • Maintain detailed medical records and uphold veterinary standards and regulations
  • Work collaboratively with technicians and support staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
