About the Role

We are working with an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Lynchburg, Virginia, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its team.

This full-service hospital provides progressive medical, surgical and dental care, with access to a broad range of diagnostic capabilities. The hospital is equipped with in-house testing, digital imaging, ultrasound, a dedicated surgical suite and an on-site pharmacy, alongside access to external laboratories.

This opportunity could suit an experienced veterinarian looking for their next move or a new graduate seeking dedicated mentorship and continued development.

Schedule

The hospital operates Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, offering the opportunity to work within an established weekday practice.

About You

You will need:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent

  • Virginia veterinary licence in good standing, or the ability to obtain one

  • Commitment to practising a high standard of veterinary medicine

  • Collaborative and team-focused approach

  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to building trusted client relationships
