About the Role

Are you looking for an established small animal practice where you can join a close-knit, experienced team while having access to excellent clinical equipment and resources?

We are working with a well-established, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Virginia that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its team.

The practice has been serving its local community for over 40 years and is looking to grow its current two-doctor team. You’ll be joining long-standing team members in a hospital that places a strong emphasis on high standards of patient care and collaborative medicine.

The hospital is well equipped with digital radiography, dental radiography, portable ultrasound and in-house analyzers, giving you the tools to confidently manage a varied small animal caseload.

The Opportunity

  • Full-time Associate Veterinarian position

  • $130,000 – $150,000 annual salary, dependent on experience

  • Signing bonus available

  • Additional variable pay programs may be available

Schedule

The hospital's opening hours are:

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

About You

We’re looking for a veterinarian who enjoys working collaboratively and is passionate about building strong relationships with both clients and their patients.

You will need:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent

  • Virginia veterinary licence in good standing, or the ability to obtain one

  • Commitment to practising a high standard of veterinary medicine

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Collaborative and team-focused approach
