The Opportunity

Global Veterinary Careers is currently supporting a progressive small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced and collaborative team.

The hospital currently has 4 veterinarians, including a Medical Director and 3 Staff Veterinarians, offering strong clinical support and peer collaboration. The team provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats, with a broad caseload covering wellness, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and internal medicine.

Schedule

This is a full-time position.

Current hospital opening hours are:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm
  • Saturday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
  • Sunday, closed

Caseload

The hospital provides care for dogs and cats, including:

  • Wellness and preventative medicine
  • Dentistry
  • Digital dental imaging
  • Soft tissue surgery
  • Diagnostic workups
  • Internal medicine

  • Client education and treatment planning

Compensation

Base salary of $150,000–$220,000+, plus production potential.

The final package will depend on experience, clinical skills, schedule, and credentials.

Requirements

  • DVM/VMD degree or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited university
  • NAVLE
  • ECFVG or PAVE if attended a non-AVMA-accredited university
  • Eligibility to practise in California
  • DEA, State, and USDA licenses, or ability to obtain when hired
  • Commitment to practising high-quality medicine and upholding veterinary ethics
