The Practice

• Established mixed animal hospital serving the community for over 30 years
• Small animal facilities with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound and modern surgical suites
• Large animal facilities including equine examination area, cattle chute, heated barn and fully equipped ambulatory vehicles
• Advanced dentistry with full-mouth dental radiographs and mentorship from a board-certified dentist
• Diverse caseload including dogs, cats, horses, cattle and occasional farm animals and exotics
• Supportive, collaborative team with excellent mentorship for new graduates

The Role

Full-time Associate Veterinarian position with flexibility to focus on small animal or mixed animal practice:

• Wellness and preventative medicine
• Medical and surgical case management
• Dentistry and diagnostics
• Small animal and/or large animal consultations
• Farm and equine ambulatory work (for mixed animal veterinarians)
• Shared rotation for weekend and weeknight on-call

Requirements

• DVM / VMD (or equivalent)
• Eligible to work in the US
• Interest in small animal or mixed animal practice
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to participate in shared on-call (mixed animal rotation)
• DVM/VMD degree or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited university
• NAVLE certification
• ECFVG or PAVE (if graduated from a non-AVMA accredited program)
• DEA, State, and USDA licences (or ability to obtain upon hire)
