Associate Veterinarian – Sun Valley, California
GVC is recruiting on behalf of a well-established community veterinary hospital in Sun Valley, California, part of a growing network of practices across Northern California. We are seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join a stable, supportive clinical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident DVM looking to practise high-quality general medicine within a settled team environment, with genuine scope for those with an interest in growing into a leadership role over time.
About the Hospital
- Established general practice with a loyal and dedicated client base
- Stable, experienced Clinical Director and cohesive clinical team in place
- Supported by a wider network of community veterinary hospitals across Northern California
- Strong operational and mentorship infrastructure
- 7-day hospital with rota-based scheduling – 3 to 4 days per week for the individual, including occasional weekends on rotation
The Role
As Associate Veterinarian you will:
- Deliver high-quality general practice medicine across a varied and engaging caseload
- Work collaboratively within a settled clinical team under experienced leadership
- Contribute to the continued growth and clinical standards of the hospital
- For the right candidate, there is scope to develop into a future leadership pathway
What We're Looking For
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed in California
- Minimum 3 years post-graduate clinical experience
- A strong, confident clinician who is passionate about high-quality patient care
- An interest in future leadership or mentorship would be advantageous but is not essential
Compensation & Benefits
- Total compensation: $150,000 – $180,000
