An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Director to lead a well-established small animal practice in Warwickshire, UK. This role offers the chance to shape the clinical direction of a respected practice while working with a supportive and highly experienced veterinary team.

With a strong reputation in the local community and excellent clinical facilities, this is an ideal position for a confident veterinary leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and mentoring colleagues.


The Role

As Clinical Director, you will play a key role in leading the clinical team while helping drive practice performance and development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strong clinical leadership and guidance to the veterinary team

  • Maintaining high standards of patient care and client service

  • Supporting and mentoring veterinary surgeons and nurses

  • Contributing to strategic practice growth and development

  • Managing a varied caseload including routine and more advanced procedures

  • Supporting a collaborative and positive team culture

The practice offers a diverse caseload including orthopaedic surgery, laparoscopic procedures, soft tissue surgery and advanced medical cases, providing excellent opportunities for professional development.


The Team & Facilities

You will join a large and experienced veterinary team, including multiple vets and certificate holders, working within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The practice is equipped with modern facilities including:

  • Digital X-ray

  • Ultrasound

  • Endoscopy equipment

  • Dental and surgical facilities

  • Orthopaedic surgical equipment

The team places strong emphasis on clinical collaboration, mentorship and continuous professional development.


Working Pattern

  • Full-time – 40 hours per week

  • 4-day working week

  • 1 in 6 Saturday rota

  • No out-of-hours work

Requirements

We are looking for a confident and supportive veterinary leader who enjoys developing teams and maintaining high clinical standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • RCVS registration
  • Previous leadership or senior veterinary experience
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills
  • Interest in mentoring and team development
  • Certificate holder or working towards a certificate (desirable)
