About the Role and Team 👩‍⚕️

This is a full-service practice where clinical autonomy is a reality, not a promise. The team handles everything from routine consultations to intermediate surgery, dentistry, and medical workups.

• The Setup: Two-site practice with a supportive, experienced team who are always available for a second opinion.

• The Schedule: A fair on-call rota (approx. 1 in 4) with alternating weekends. Sundays are strictly for true emergencies (one hour of availability), ensuring that “island life” actually remains a life, not just a workplace.

About You (To be considered) ✅

The practice is looking for a vet who is ready to hit the ground running. Please note: This role is not suitable for New Graduates.

• Experience: You must have a minimum of 2 years’ UK experience (or equivalent).

• Skills: You should be confident in a consulting room and capable of handling routine surgery independently.

• Attributes: Patience is key during this period of growth. You are a kind, observant clinician who can handle difficult conversations with empathy and admit when you don't have all the answers.
