The Opportunity

GVC are delighted to be supporting a well-established, RCVS-accredited small animal practice in East Sussex, looking to welcome a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to their friendly branch team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet who enjoys building strong client relationships and being at the heart of a local community. You’ll be based in a small, welcoming branch surgery, working in a consulting-only capacity, with the support of a large, well-equipped central hospital and experienced wider team.

The Role

• Salary: £54,000–£59,000 FTE (dependent on experience)
• Part-time hours – flexible working pattern discussed at interview
• Based in Brighton, East Sussex, UK
• Consulting-only role – no operations
• Sole charge position within the branch
• Fully supported by a large central hospital team
• No out-of-hours requirement

This role would suit a confident vet who enjoys client communication, continuity of care and running their own branch environment while remaining part of a collaborative wider practice.

• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
• Comfortable working in sole charge
• Confident with first opinion GP consults
• Strong communication skills
• Passionate about delivering a personal, community-focused service
