Veterinary Surgeon 

Salary up to £73,000 (depending on experience)

My client in the North East , Durham area is excited to be bringing round-the-clock veterinary care to the Teesside area, providing accessible, high-quality treatment for pets whenever they need it.

They are  looking for passionate and forward-thinking Vets to join their brand-new hospital team from day one. This is an incredible opportunity to be part of a growing organisation that’s committed to delivering outstanding patient care and making a genuine difference to pets and their owners.

About the Role

The new state-of-the-art hospital has been purpose-built to support excellence in veterinary medicine and a positive team environment. It includes:

  • 9 spacious consulting rooms

  • 3 fully equipped operating theatres

  • Dedicated dental and diagnostic suites (including digital X-ray and ultrasound)

  • Separate cat and dog wards for low-stress patient care

  • Central prep area and isolation unit

  • Facilities to deliver first opinion, referral, and out-of-hours services

You’ll enjoy a varied and exciting caseload, working alongside skilled colleagues who share your passion for delivering excellent clinical care and continuous improvement.

Rota

  • 4-day week (40 hours)

  • 2:9 weekends

  • Flexible approach to rota planning to support work–life balance

  • Confident and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon
