Location: Kensington or Kew, Victoria
Dates: 14th September – end of September
Hours: Various shifts, approximately 3 shifts per week

An emergency and critical care hospital is seeking Locum Veterinarians for additional coverage from mid to late September. This opportunity would suit a vet with ECC experience who is comfortable working a range of day, evening and overnight shifts.

What’s on offer:

• Locum opportunity from 14th September through to the end of September
• Approximately 3 shifts per week
• Monday, Tuesday, Friday and weekend night shifts available
• Day, swing and overnight shifts
• Busier workload on weekends
• Generally supported by 1–2 nurses, a consult nurse and an emergency nurse assistant
• Sole charge can occur from 1:00am
• Kew is generally a sole charge environment

Shift times:

• Day: 6:00am–6:30pm
• Swing: 4:00pm–1:00am
• Overnight: 6:00pm–6:30am

Requirements:

• BVSc or equivalent, with registration (or eligibility) in Australia
• ECC experience preferred
• Comfortable working independently and managing emergency cases
• Comfortable with overnight and sole charge responsibilities
• Reliable, professional, and adaptable
