We are seeking an experienced Locum Vet to assist a small animal referral practice with the following shifts:

5th & 6th May – 4pm-11pm
21st & 22nd May – 4pm-11pm
25th – 27th May – 4pm-11pm
30th & 31st May – 9am-9pm

The work is predominantly wards-based supporting with inpatient care, handling incoming calls from clients and referring veterinarians, and acting as a point of support for on-call specialist teams. 

The shift 4pm -11pm also involves receiving inpatient handover  from each team (4-5pm approximately) before going to wards to look after inpatients. 

We require someone with a high level of prior emergency and OOH experience. Referral-level experience is desirable.
