The Opportunity
A well-supported emergency veterinary network is seeking experienced Emergency Veterinarians to join its team in a flexible, relief-style emergency role with the stability and benefits of a structured employment model. Experience Required
- 3+ years of emergency experience, or
- ER internship trained with 1–2 additional years of emergency experience
- Emergency and specialty experience strongly required
- Surgical confidence and hands-on emergency procedures required
Schedule & Flexibility
Full-Time Option
- Minimum commitment of 9 shifts per 4-week block to qualify for full benefits, PTO, and discretionary funds
- One of the lowest shift minimums in the industry for full-time eligibility
Part-Time Option
- Minimum commitment of 3 shifts per 4-week block
- Eligible for part-time benefits
Scheduling is managed through an online platform, giving veterinarians direct control over shift selection within agreed-upon guidelines. Additional shifts beyond the minimum commitment are optional and compensated accordingly.
Compensation
- Competitive shift and production-based compensation model
- Typical annual earnings range from $200,000 to $300,000+, depending on shifts worked and production
