Emergency Veterinarian (ER)

Location: Singapore
Salary: SGD $102,000 – $120,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 12 day/late shifts and 4 overnight shifts every 4 weeks

Global Veterinary Careers is supporting a leading 24/7 emergency and specialty referral hospital in Singapore with the recruitment of an Emergency Veterinarian (ER) to join its expanding clinical team.

This role is well suited to a veterinarian with solid emergency experience who is looking to work in a structured, well-resourced referral environment with access to specialist support and advanced diagnostics.

The Opportunity

You will provide high-quality emergency veterinary care across day, late and overnight shifts, managing a varied and interesting caseload in a collaborative hospital setting.

You’ll work closely with experienced nurses, referral clinicians and specialists, allowing you to focus on clinical excellence while delivering an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency and urgent care services within a 24/7 hospital environment

• Perform diagnostic workups, develop treatment plans and manage ER caseloads

• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, particularly during emergencies

• Work collaboratively with nursing, referral and specialist teams to ensure seamless patient care

• Maintain accurate and compliant medical records

• Practice evidence-based medicine and preventative care where appropriate

• Perform basic surgical procedures with appropriate anaesthesia, monitoring and pain management

• Support efficient workflow and high clinical standards across all shifts

About You

• Veterinary degree recognised in Singapore (or eligible for registration)

• Minimum 2 years’ prior experience in emergency or ER-focused practice

• Confident managing emergency presentations across varied shift patterns

• Strong communication skills and calm decision-making under pressure

• Team-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality care

Working Pattern

• 12 day / late shifts every 4 weeks

• 4 overnight shifts every 4 weeks
