The Opportunity
- Join a busy emergency service within a multi-disciplinary specialty hospital serving Park Slope, Fort Greene, Carroll Gardens, Gowanus, and surrounding Brooklyn neighborhoods.
- Mix of primary ER cases and in-house specialty referrals, with strong cross-service collaboration.
Hospital Snapshot
- Large established facility with dedicated outpatient treatment areas and a private inpatient floor housing ICU, surgery, ultrasound, cardiology, and procedure suites.
- On site specialties include Emergency and Critical Care, Cardiology, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Dermatology and Allergy, Soft Tissue, Minimally Invasive and Orthopedic Surgery, Oncology, Radiology, and Anesthesiology.
Equipment and Tech
- CT, high-field MRI, dual radiology suites, ultrasound, full in-house lab and advanced monitoring throughout ICU and OR spaces.
Caseload
- Small animal emergency and specialty referral, 24/7 coverage with critical care support.
Schedule
- Full time, part time, or relief options available, ER shift blocks designed for recovery time.

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program
- NAVLE passed
- If international graduate, ECFVG or PAVE
- Active or eligible New York veterinary license, DEA and USDA accreditation, can be obtained upon hire
- Prior rotating internship or ECC experience preferred, not essential, new to ER pathways considered
- Strong triage, stabilization, and client communication skills, thrives in a fast-paced, team environment
Compensation
Base $160,000 to 220,000, 22 to 27% production, differentials for swing shifts and overnights, sign on and relocation available. OTE 220,000 to 350,000 plus.
Base salary commensurate with experience, plus production with no negative accrual. Sign on and relocation assistance available.
