An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Exotics Veterinarian to join a progressive, independently owned veterinary practice located in Melbourne. Known for its excellence in both general and exotic pet care, this clinic offers a strong existing caseload across birds, reptiles, and pocket pets, supported by a purpose-built facility and a highly skilled team.

This role would suit a veterinarian with a passion for exotics and a desire to further develop their skills in a clinic that values collaboration, professional growth, and high standards of care.

About the Role:

• Provide high-quality veterinary services to a diverse range of exotic species, including birds, reptiles, and small mammals

• Undertake consultations, diagnostic workups, and both routine and advanced procedures

• Collaborate with a supportive team of experienced vets and nurses

• Participate in the ongoing development of the clinic’s exotic medicine offering

• No after-hours required – enjoy true work-life balance

  What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified veterinarian eligible for registration in Victoria

• Proven experience working with exotic species in a clinical setting

• Strong surgical and diagnostic skills

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and client relationship skills

• A genuine passion for exotic animal medicine and commitment to best practice standards
