I am working with a well-established full-service small-animal practice in Malta who is seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Nurse with a strong surgical bias to join our close-knit, passionate team. ❤️

🐾 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in all surgical procedures – pre-operative preparation, theatre nursing, anaesthesia monitoring, and post-operative recovery and intensive care
• Provide compassionate in-patient and out-patient nursing, including wound management, medication administration, and diagnostic support
• Support veterinarians during consultations, emergencies, and advanced procedures
• Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene, sterilisation, and infection control
• Conduct nurse clinics, client education, and inventory management
• Accurate record-keeping and contribution to a positive team environment

📋 REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified Veterinary Nurse (MCAST Diploma/Degree in Veterinary Nursing or recognised equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in surgical nursing (theatre, anaesthesia, and post-op care)
• Confident animal handling across all sizes and temperaments 🙌🐱
• Excellent communication skills in both Maltese and English
• Team player who is reliable, compassionate, and able to work flexible hours (including some weekends and on-call)
• Full driving licence is an advantage 🚗
