Veterinary Nurse – Casual Role

Kieron Wineberg, Lead Consultant at GVC – Global Veterinary Careers, is working with a well-established, privately owned small-animal veterinary practice that is now seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join their supportive team in a casual capacity.

About the Role
The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining smooth clinic operations while delivering a high standard of patient care and client service. This position includes a wide range of nursing duties in a professional, caring environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality surgical, anaesthetic, and hospital nursing

• Monitoring, treating, and maintaining accurate patient documentation

• Supporting consultations and running nurse appointments

• Maintaining theatre, equipment, and sterilisation to a high standard

• Assisting with reception duties including client communication and scheduling

• Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organised clinical environment

• Upholding gold-standard clinical care and positive client experiences

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and a minimum of 3 years of experience

• Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to ongoing development

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A calm, mature, and compassionate approach to patient and client care

• Strong organisation and time management

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
