This fixed‑term contract runs from August 2026 through January 2027, aligning with the Southern Hemisphere breeding and foaling season.

You’ll be an integral part of the farm’s breeding and foaling units, working closely with experienced local veterinarians and a highly skilled stud team.

• Fixed‑term contract: Aug 2026 → Jan 2027
• Around 120 mares foaling down — serious repro exposure
• Work across breeding + foaling units
• 3 stallions standing for the 2026 season
• Support from experienced local vets
• On‑farm accommodation available

Who we're looking for – 
• Primary degree registrable with the Veterinary Council of New Zealand
• Must be a New Zealand resident or eligible for a New Zealand work visa
• Reproductive scanning experience
• Previous experience in equine reproduction and foal medicine required
