Head Veterinary Nurse – Slough, Berkshire, UK

Are you a confident and experienced RVN ready to step into a leadership role in Slough, Berkshire? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established small animal practice with a supportive team, excellent facilities, and strong clinical standards.

The Role

• Full-time permanent position (4-day week)
• 1 in 6 weekends at a nearby 24-hour hospital
• Lead and support a dedicated nursing team
• Deliver high-quality patient and client care
• Run nurse-led clinics and Schedule 3 procedures
• Assist with surgeries, consultations, and patient monitoring
• Oversee admissions, discharges, and clinical standards

Requirements

• RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse
• Previous experience in a senior or leadership role (or ready to step up)
• Strong clinical skills and team leadership ability
• Passion for high standards of patient and client care
