An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready to take the next step as Head Vet within a progressive, independent, well-supported small animal practice.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading, mentoring, and inspiring a talented veterinary and nursing team.

• Overseeing and driving the continuous improvement of clinical standards and protocols.

• Managing a varied and interesting caseload while providing exceptional patient care.

• Working alongside the management team to deliver the practice’s strategic vision.

• Supporting colleagues’ professional development through coaching, training, and case discussions.

What We’re Looking For

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with strong GP experience and leadership capability.

• Passionate about delivering gold-standard, evidence-based clinical care.

• A confident decision-maker who enjoys leading from the front and developing others.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach.

Your Work Pattern

• 4-day working week (40 hours).

• 1 in 4 weekends.

• No out-of-hours
