Position Type: Full-Time (Part-Time Considered)
An established small animal clinic in Auckland is seeking an experienced Head Veterinarian to lead a close-knit and passionate team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian looking to step into leadership, or an existing clinical leader ready for their next challenge.
Based in a modern, purpose-built clinic, you'll work alongside an experienced Practice Manager and a dedicated nursing team to deliver exceptional patient care while mentoring and developing the team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a collaborative veterinary team
- Deliver a high standard of clinical care and customer service
- Support the ongoing development of veterinarians and nurses
- Work closely with the Practice Manager to oversee clinic operations and financial performance
- Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive team culture
- Perform general practice consultations and surgery, with an interest in dentistry highly regarded
Requirements:
- BVSc or equivalent, with registration (or eligibility) in New Zealand
- Minimum 3 years' experience in small animal practice
- Previous leadership experience or a genuine desire to step into a leadership role
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Confident in general practice medicine and surgery
- Interest in dentistry is advantageous
- Reliable, professional and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
