The Clinic

This purpose-built hospital has been designed with both patients and the veterinary team in mind. You'll have access to modern equipment including:

• Digital radiography
• Ultrasound
• IDEXX in-house laboratory
• Dedicated surgical theatre
• Separate dog and cat wards

You'll be joining a close-knit team that genuinely enjoys working together. They pride themselves on creating a positive, supportive environment where everyone contributes, everyone is respected and patient care always comes first.

Working alongside an experienced Practice Manager, you'll have the support needed to focus on leading your team while continuing to deliver excellent clinical care.

The Role

As Head Veterinarian, you'll provide both clinical and professional leadership while remaining actively involved in consulting and surgery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading by example with a high standard of veterinary care
• Mentoring and developing junior and recently graduated veterinarians
• Supporting a positive and collaborative clinic culture
• Building lasting relationships with loyal clients
• Working closely with the Practice Manager to support the ongoing success of the clinic
• Encouraging continuous learning and professional development across the team

Whether leadership is new to you or you've been managing teams for years, you'll have access to ongoing coaching and support to help you grow.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has 3+ years' experience in small animal practice
• Is confident in both consulting and surgery
• Enjoys mentoring and supporting other veterinarians
• Has excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Leads with positivity, collaboration and empathy
• Is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care
• Is excited by the opportunity to help shape a thriving clinic culture
