We’re representing a modern, community-focused small animal clinic in West Ipswich, seeking a confident Head Veterinarian to lead their passionate and supportive team.

The clinic is well-equipped with Idexx in-house pathology, surgical suite, digital and dental X-ray, and access to a mobile orthopaedic surgeon, allowing you to manage a wide range of medical and surgical cases.

About the Role

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced veterinarian ready to step into leadership, or an existing Lead Vet seeking a new challenge within a supportive, progressive environment.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Providing clinical leadership and mentoring your veterinary team

• Managing day-to-day operations alongside an experienced Practice Manager

• Maintaining high standards of patient care and client communication

• Overseeing clinic performance and contributing to business growth

• Building strong relationships within the local community

About You

You’re an experienced vet with strong clinical standards, great communication skills, and a supportive, team-oriented mindset.

You’ll bring:

• A Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and current registration (or eligibility)

• Prior experience in a leadership or senior clinical role (preferred)

• Confidence in managing both clinical and administrative responsibilities

• A passion for teamwork, mentorship, and delivering exceptional client care
