This exciting new surgery is opening in the West London area, part of a nationwide independent, family-owned veterinary group with a clear mission: to help pets live long, happy and healthy lives with the people who love them.

The practice has been purpose-built with both patients and the team firmly in mind — modern, calm, and equipped with the latest technology. It's a genuinely exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role where the culture, clinical standards, and team identity are yours to shape from day one.

This is the same new surgery featured in our recent Veterinary Surgeon advert — meaning the Head Vet will be joining alongside two experienced GP Vets who are equally invested in building something special together.

About the Role

This is a full-time, hands-on leadership position working 4 days per week across 9-hour shifts, averaging 39 hours per week. The weekend rota is 1 in 4, with dedicated admin time built into every shift.

As Head Vet, you'll be responsible for:

• Leading and inspiring the clinical team
• Setting and upholding high standards of clinical governance
• Delivering outstanding first-opinion medicine and surgery
• Supporting and developing your colleagues
• Building strong relationships with clients and the local community
• Playing a central role in shaping the culture and direction of the practice

They are looking for a confident, experienced Veterinary Surgeon with strong all-round GP experience and a genuine passion for leadership and mentorship.
