Global Veterinary Careers is working with an independent, family-owned veterinary practice in the Doncaster area that is looking for an experienced and motivated Head Veterinary Surgeon to lead their clinical team. About the Role & Team:
The Head Vet will be a key member of the practice’s management team, leading and supporting the clinical team to deliver gold-standard, evidence-based care. This role is perfect for a veterinary surgeon who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and inspiring colleagues. Responsibilities include setting clinical standards, overseeing patient care, and contributing to the strategic vision of the practice.

Working Pattern:

• 4 days per week
• 1 in 4 weekends
• No out-of-hours work, though on-call duties may be required for overnight inpatients

About You:
The ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified veterinary surgeon with significant clinical experience 🩺
• Have strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and coach a team
• Be passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based veterinary care
• Thrive on a varied caseload and enjoy working in a collaborative environment
• Be proactive in implementing improvements and driving clinical excellence
