Looking to take the next step in your veterinary career within a highly experienced hospital team?

GVC is delighted to be supporting a well-established Tier 3 Small Animal Hospital in Nottinghamshire as they look to recruit an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team where clinical excellence, professional development and work-life balance are genuinely valued.

  • Working collaboratively alongside experienced certificate holders
  • Managing medical cases and diagnostics
  • Providing exceptional patient and client care
  • Contributing to a supportive and team-focused clinical environment

There are no out-of-hours commitments, allowing you to enjoy an excellent work-life balance while maintaining exposure to an interesting and rewarding caseload.

You'll work alongside a large veterinary team including numerous certificate holders across a range of disciplines, creating an excellent environment for collaboration, mentorship and continued clinical development.

  • Is confident managing routine consultations and surgery
  • Has excellent communication and client care skills
  • Enjoys working within a collaborative team

  • A medical bias would be advantageous but is not essential

Certificate study is actively encouraged and fully supported for the right candidate.
