GVC are delighted to be assisting a well-established veterinary charity in the recruitment of a Veterinary Surgeon to join their modern, purpose-built hospital in Basildon, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet who enjoys a varied first opinion caseload, values teamwork, and wants to use their clinical skills to positively impact the lives of pets and their owners.

You'll work alongside an experienced and supportive team, managing a broad mix of medical and surgical cases while having access to excellent facilities and collaborative clinical support. About You

We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who:

  • Holds MRCVS registration (or is eligible to register)
  • Enjoys a varied first opinion caseload
  • Is confident with routine consultations and surgery
  • Communicates with empathy and professionalism
  • Enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team
  • Takes a practical, patient-focused approach to clinical decision making
  • Is passionate about delivering high standards of veterinary care
