Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse – North East London Area
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior RVN to join a large and busy 24-hour hospital in the North East London area. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse who thrives in a diverse hospital setting and is ready to step up into a senior position within an advanced clinical environment.
The Role

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (4-day week)

Weekends: 1:6 rotation with TOIL

Salary: £34,000–£39,000 (DOE)
This varied senior role involves supporting multiple departments, including theatre, wards, consulting, and ECC. You’ll provide cover for senior departmental colleagues during annual leave, ensuring each week brings new challenges and variety.
The hospital handles both first opinion and internal referral cases from surrounding branches, providing exposure to a wide range of complex medical and surgical patients. The site is equipped with CT scanning, in-house laboratory, and advanced surgical facilities for orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive procedures.
You’ll work alongside a large, multidisciplinary team including over 25 vets, 27 RVNs, 14 SVNs, 7 VCAs and an experienced client care team – all dedicated to delivering exceptional patient and client care.
Comprehensive support is available for professional development, whether that’s leadership training, ward nursing skills, or expanding your theatre and ECC knowledge.
About You

RCVS-registered RVN with substantial hospital experience

Confident across multiple clinical departments (or eager to develop)

Strong leadership and communication skills

Passionate about high standards of patient care and teamwork
