Rest Your Paws is Australia’s leading in-home palliative care and euthanasia service, dedicated to providing compassionate, meaningful end-of-life experiences for pets and their families. We are seeking a caring and motivated Veterinarian to join our team in the Campbelltown and South-West Sydney region, where there is a key gap in service coverage between Liverpool and Campbelltown.

About the Role:
This role offers flexibility for veterinarians seeking either part-time, contractor-based, or full-time employment. The position involves providing in-home euthanasia and palliative care services across the South-West Sydney area, with the opportunity to contribute to community education, local clinic partnerships, and business development initiatives if desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-home euthanasia services with empathy and professionalism

  • Support families through quality-of-life discussions and end-of-life decisions

  • Optional: conduct palliative care consultations for elderly and terminally ill pets

  • Participate in the Sydney on-call roster (minimum one weekend day per month)

  • Optional: contribute to outreach and business development if in a full-time role

Requirements:

  • BVSc or equivalent with NSW veterinary registration

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience

  • Strong communication and emotional intelligence skills

  • Comfortable working independently with remote team support

  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
