Large Animal Vet – Equine Focus, Cornwall

GVC is assisting a well-established, RCVS-accredited mixed practice in Cornwall to recruit a Large Animal Vet with a strong equine focus. This role offers the chance to enjoy excellent clinical work alongside a true work-life balance.

The Role:

  • 4-day working week (flexible or part-time options available)

  • Approx. 1:6 OOH rota

  • Predominantly equine caseload with farm animal emergency work

  • Opportunity to shape and develop equine services

  • Proper diary management ensures finishing on time

About You:

  • Passionate about delivering high-quality patient and client care

  • Personable and confident in building strong relationships

  • Comfortable with a variety of cases, from family ponies to competition horses

  • Keen to make the most of excellent mobile equipment (DR, ultrasound, endoscope, gastroscope, motorised dental kit)

Benefits:

  • Salary up to £60,000 DOE 

  • Memberships paid: RCVS, VDS, BVA

  • 5 weeks annual leave + bank holidays (pro rata)
