Looking for a leadership role where you can focus on mentoring, clinical standards, and team culture without the burden of after-hours and on-call work?
We're working with two well-established and highly respected veterinary clinics in Brisbane's western suburbs that are seeking an experienced Lead Veterinarian to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior veterinarian who enjoys leading by example, supporting colleagues, and helping shape a positive clinic culture while still remaining actively involved in medicine and surgery.
The Role
This position is split across two established clinics, with:

2 days per week at one clinic

2 days per week at the second clinic

Sole charge every 1 in 4 weekends

No after-hours
-
No on-call responsibilities
You'll be stepping into a leadership role within a supportive and collaborative environment, working alongside experienced veterinarians and nurses who genuinely enjoy what they do.

What You'll Be Doing

Providing exceptional patient care and clinical leadership

Supporting and mentoring veterinary colleagues

Managing a varied caseload across medicine and surgery
About You
This opportunity would suit an experienced Senior Veterinarian who is ready to take ownership of a leadership position and help guide a team while continuing to enjoy hands-on clinical work.
You will:

Hold a BVSc or equivalent and be eligible for registration in Australia

Have at least 5 years of clinical experience

Possess previous leadership experience or demonstrate strong leadership capability

Enjoy both consulting and surgery

Be passionate about mentoring and supporting colleagues

Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Be committed to delivering gold-standard patient and client care
