Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary clinical care for medical and surgical cases

  • Lead, mentor, and support GP veterinarians and nursing staff

  • Conduct performance appraisals and contribute to team development

  • Assist in clinic operations and marketing initiatives

  • Be an integral part of the hospital’s leadership team

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in small animal practice

  • Strong communication and client engagement skills

  • A positive, team-focused attitude

  • Interest in mentoring, leadership, or advanced clinical development

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary package up to $150,000 + Super

  • Minimal after-hours/on-call work

  • Full-time, structured roster:

  • Mon–Fri: 8am–6pm

  • Sat: 8am–11am

  • No Sundays or public holidays

  • Supportive, experienced team with opportunities for mentorship and professional development

  • Exposure to a diverse and interesting caseload, including advanced cases

  • Coastal North Queensland lifestyle with beaches, parks, rainforest walks, and proximity to Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays

If you’re ready to step into a leadership role in a supportive, progressive clinic while enjoying a relaxed coastal lifestyle, this is the perfect opportunity.
