An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced veterinarian to step into a Lead Veterinarian position within a well-established small animal practice located in Melbourne's north-west growth corridor.

The Role
As Lead Veterinarian, you will:
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to the veterinary team
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing clinic culture
- Support the day-to-day clinical and operational success of the practice
- Deliver exceptional patient care and client service
- Assist in developing team capability and clinical standards
The position can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis, with flexibility to create a work-life balance that suits your lifestyle. A minimum commitment of 60 hours per fortnight is required.
There are no after-hours or on-call requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent)
- Current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Veterinary Practitioners Registration Board of Victoria
- Ideally 5+ years of clinical veterinary experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for mentoring and supporting colleagues
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- A collaborative and proactive approach to patient care and team leadership
Previous leadership experience is highly regarded but not essential.
