About the Role and Team: 🤝
As the Head Veterinary Surgeon, you will work in close partnership with the Practice Director and Nurse Manager to inspire a dedicated clinical team. This is a “player-coach” role where you will:

  • Lead & Mentor: Drive clinical standards and empower your team through regular check-ins, competency reviews, and supportive coaching. 👨‍🏫
  • Clinical Excellence: Perform advanced procedures, including emergency surgeries (exploratory laparotomies, pleural effusion drainage, etc.), ensuring “gold-standard” care. 🩺
  • Strategic Input: Collaborate on business performance, budgeting, and service optimization to shape the future of the hub.
  • Champion Innovation: Introduce forward-thinking medical and surgical techniques to enhance patient outcomes. 💡
