The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to step into a Lead role within a well-established small animal practice in Bracknell.
This is ideal for a confident vet looking to take the next step into leadership while still maintaining a strong clinical caseload. You’ll be supported by a wider network of advanced services and referral-level expertise, giving you excellent case exposure and development opportunities.
The practice is well-equipped with multiple consult rooms, dedicated wards, and dental imaging, and benefits from close links to a 24-hour centre for out-of-hours care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality clinical care during consultations and procedures
- Provide clear and compassionate communication to clients
- Lead, mentor, and develop the clinical team
- Work closely with management to support practice performance
- Maintain high clinical and regulatory standards
- Support clinical handovers and continuity of care
- Promote and share clinical best practice across the wider team
Requirements
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Proven experience in a small animal practice
- Confident in clinical decision-making and leadership
- Strong communication and team engagement skills
- Interest in developing clinical standards and team performance
- Ophthalmology interest desirable but not essential
Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £70,000 DOE
- 4-day working week with a fair weekend rota
